Holiday Lights Display Among Best In U.S. Is Just A Short Drive From Chicago
The annual holiday lights display draws thousands of visitors each year.

LISLE, IL — Morton Arboretum is set to open its 2025 Tree Lights: Illumination On Nov. 15. The dazzling lights display, which features 20 immersive light shows, bonfires and more, has been ranked among the top lights displays in the country by USA Today.
This year, Tree Lights will illuminate the towering sculptures from the arboretum's Vivid Creatures exhibit, bringing an extra shine to the colorful squirrels, cranes and dragonflies that reach up to 23 feet high.
Visitors can gather around bonfires, but can also enjoy new IllumiDomes. The transparent 13-foot domes that can seat up to 10 people.

Before the Nov. 15 opening of Illuminaton: Tree Lights, visitors can get a sneak peek during IllumiBrew. During the 21-and-over preview night, attendees can sip seasonal beer, meads and ciders from local breweries.
For a fun twist on the Tree Lights experience, adults 18 and over can attend Electric Illumination on Dec. 5, 12, and 19, with DJs set to play different genres of music each night, including pop divas and house music.

A special Sensory Night is planned for Nov. 18, with low music and static lighting to accommodate guests with sensory sensitivities.
Tickets to Illumination: Tree Lights start at $18.50. The event will be open through Jan. 3.
