John Kasich Tells Lisle Crowd It's Not Over Yet
The Republican presidential candidate held a town hall meeting Wednesday morning at the Navistar Atrium in Lisle.
Lisle, IL - Ohio Gov. and Republican presidential candidate John Kasich told an atrium full of supporters Wednesday that he believes he can still win the election.
The town hall was held at the Navistar Atrium in Lisle, and Kasich is also scheduled for a second DuPage County gathering at 1:30 p.m. at the Palatine Park District Community Center Gymnasium.

Kasich told the Midwest crowd that he speaks for those who feel they have no voice, and he compared his leadership in Ohio to Gov. Bruce Rauner's in Illinois.
Toward the end of the town hall, Kasich asked for his record to be scrutinized. He advocated for national security, destroying ISIS and creating a balance of protection and individual rights.

"At the end of the day, America has to lead in this world because if we don't, we lose," Kasich said.
Kasich finished in third place Tuesday in the Republican presidential primary in Michigan, with 24.29 percent of the vote. Donald Trump won the state with 36.51 percent of the vote and Cruz was not far ahead of Kasich with 24.92 percent of the vote.

The presidential primary election in Illinois will be held on March 15.
