Lisle Cops To Crack Down On Impaired Drivers Over Holidays

Lisle cops will be on the lookout for impaired drivers once again as the new year approaches.

LISLE, IL — As New Year's Eve approaches, Lisle police are planning to increase patrols to be on the lookout for drivers who are drunk or high while they are behind the wheel.

“We want everyone in our community to enjoy the holidays without worrying about the dangers of impaired drivers,” Lisle Police Chief Kevin Licko said in a statement.

He added, "During the campaign, you can expect to see extra officers on patrol throughout Lisle, and we will show zero tolerance for alcohol and drug-impaired driving."
