Lisle Cops Out In Full Force For Holiday Crackdown
The Lisle police department will target drunk drivers as part of their holiday safety campaign.
LISLE, IL — Police in Lisle will increase patrols to deter drunk and impaired driving during the winter holidays. The initiative is part of the "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."
"This holiday season, let’s make safety our shared priority," Sergeant William Wise said statement.
Police recommend taking the following steps to ensure a safe and happy holiday.

- Designate a sober driver
- Use a rideshare service
- Call a cab
- Don't let friends drive drunk
- Report impaired drivers
- Wear your seatbelt
Wise added, “Driving while impaired isn’t just dangerous – it’s unacceptable. This holiday season, our police department will be out in full force, and no excuses will be accepted. If you are
thinking about drinking or using impairing substances, plan ahead. Talk with your family
or friends before you go out and make a plan to travel safely.”
