Lisle Man, 22, Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Naperville
The fatal crash took place near Naper Boulevard and Stoney Brook Drive Thursday evening.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A 22-year-old Lisle man died after his motorcycle went off the road in Naperville Thursday evening.
Police were called to Naper Boulevard, just south of Stoney Brook Drive around 6 p.m. When they got to the scene, they discovered the man's 2005 Honda motorcycle off the eastern side of Naper Boulevard. A preliminary investigation indicates the man was driving north on Naper Boulevard before going off the road before the intersection of Stoney Brook Drive.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead soon after arriving, police say. Naper Boulevard was closed to traffic from Spindletree Avenue to Stoney Brook Drive until around 9:30 p.m. as officers from the police department's traffic unit conducted an investigation into the crash.
