Major Revamp Planned For Stadium At Benet Academy
The two-phase project must be approved by the planning commission and the Village of Lisle before moving forward.

LISLE, IL — Benet Academy is seeking approval from the Village of Lisle for a major revamp of its athletic fields and Baumgartner-Gilbert Stadium. The goal of the two-phase project, which includes the addition of an alumni plaza, is to modernize the stadium and fields, much of which date back to the 1960s.
The plans include resurfacing fields with synthetic turf and building a grandstand for the stadium that includes a press box and hospitality area. Seating will be added to the east part of the stadium to accommodate visitors. The track will also be resurfaced.
Additional stadium upgrades include improvements to the sound and lighting systems and scoreboards.
