• Applicants Sought For New Police Commander Roles In Lisle (patch.com) — Lisle residents will see changes at their police department as two new commander positions are created under a recently approved rank restructuring. The village board cut one deputy chief role, added two sergeant positions, and is now seeking qualified sergeants with a bachelor’s degree to apply for the commander jobs by Dec. 21.
   

• NCSA Elects Three To Board Of Directors (candyusa.com) — One of the newly elected NCSA board members, Ferrara’s Brandon Sagotz, earned his MBA from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School in Lisle, giving the village a small but notable tie to national confectionery leadership. The board additions bring extensive candy, retail, and marketing experience that will help guide the trade group’s work with major brands and industry committees.
