Road Resurfacing Work To Begin In Parts Of Lisle
The village's 2023 annual road program aims to revitalize roadways and sidewalks, while also making Lisle more accessible.
LISLE, IL — Commuters will start to notice orange cones, maintenance crews and lane closures in parts of Lisle when the village's 2023 road program begins in late June.
The work, which will start on June 26, is part of Lisle's capital improvement plan, will include the following improvements:
- Accessibility improvements
- Curb repair
- Resurfacing and grinding
- Sidewalk removal
- Sidewalk replacement

- Canterbury Lane
- Lillian Lane
- Nottingham Court
- Pine Tree Court
- Schwartz Avenue
- Southport Avenue
- White Birch Drive
The second phase of this project will affect:
- Acorn Hill Court
- Pleasant Hill Lane
- Twin Oaks Lane
- White Oak Lane
In addition to lane closures, sidewalk closures may also take effect during the duration of the project, which should last about 16 weeks.

Lisle spokesperson Joseph Viso told Patch the $1.3 million road maintenance project will help make the village a "safer place for everyone to enjoy."
