Scarecrow Scramble To Offer In-Person, Virtual Races In 2022
Runners will don Halloween costumes and scarecrow attire to race in Lisle's 2022 Scarecrow Scramble on Oct. 15. Registration ends Oct. 12.
LISLE, IL — The 2022 Scarecrow Scramble is set for Oct. 15 in Lisle. This year, competitors will be able to participate in the race in-person or virtually. And, as always, runners are encouraged to wear costumes!
After the races come to an and, participants can enjoy pizza and beverages. Runners each get one ticket for pizza and one ticket for a drink. The first 300 people to register for Scarecrow Scramble get a t-shirt (excludes Tot Dash participants).

5K Run/Walk
The Scarecrow Scramble 5K Run/Walk starts at 6 p.m. on Oct. 15. Those who race virtually can submit their race times between Oct. 15 and Oct. 24. The cost to register for the 5K Run/Walk is $40.

Youth Run
The Youth Run kicks off at 5:30 p.m. for children ages four to 11 years old. All participants get a ribbon for crossing the finish line. Kids 10 and under who have paid to take part in the 5K can do the youth run for free. The cost to register for the Youth Run is $30.
Tot Dash
Children ages two to four years old can compete in a Tot Dash that takes off from the Lisle High School football field at 5:15 p.m. All participants get a ribbon for crossing the finish line, but Tot Dash participants will not receive a t-shirt. The cost to register for the tot dash is $8.
