Veterans Day Observance Planned In Lisle

LISLE, IL — A Veterans Day Observance will be held Nov. 9 at Lisle Veterans Memorial. The ceremony, held by the Lisle Park District and Judd Kendall VFW Post #3873, will honor service members with patriotic music, a short ceremony and remarks from local officials.

Lisle Community Band will open the observance with a medley of patriotic tunes, followed by a posting of the colors. After a performance of the National Anthem, a chaplain from DuPage AME Church will conduct an invocation.

Local officials will share remarks and the band will play another medley before the colors are retired. The ceremony will end with final remarks from officials.
