No One Injured In Rollover Crash On I-80 Near Mokena: ISP

Two westbound lanes were closed for more than an hour after a tow truck and sedan collided, causing the sedan to roll over on its roof.

MOKENA, IL ­— Two lanes of westbound I-80 were closed for more than an hour on Monday morning after a tow truck and a car were involved in a rollover crash, the Illinois State Police reported.

No one was injured in the crash, which took place at 6:14 a.m. on I-80 just west of La Grange Road, police said. The sedan rolled over on its roof after colliding with the tow truck, which caused two lanes of the expressway to be closed while the state police investigated, and debris was cleaned up.

All lanes of the expressway were re-opened by 7:30 a.m., police said. No further information was provided by a state police spokeswoman.
