Village Of Mokena: Familiar Face At The Ponds

MOKENA, IL — The Village of Mokena has a familiar partner taking care of its retention ponds again this summer. The Mokena Village Board of Trustees recently approved a contract with McCloud Aquatics of Elburn for the maintenance of 23 ponds located throughout the community.

Services provided under the contract include water quality monitoring to ensure a healthy aquatic environment and the application of chemicals from time to time as may be required to address water quality and aquatic vegetation.

McCloud has held the contract with the Village for the past two years.
