Over $2M In Grants Available For Arts, Social Services In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Applications are set to open for Naperville residents and organizations to receiver federal and city grants supporting arts, culture, social services and other initiatives.

Applications for Special Events and Community Arts grants will be available as of Sept. 6. Applications for Social Services Grants, Community Development Block Grants and Opioid Remediation Grants will open Oct. 4.

“There’s more than $2.175 million of funding available through City of Naperville grant programs,” Naperville Community Grants Coordinator Miranda Barfuss shared in a statement.

Barfuss added, “This is a fantastic opportunity for organizations to help address community needs and make a positive impact in Naperville.”

Potential applicants can attend informational workshops to learn more about grant requirements and applications. Attending one workshop is requisite for SECA grant applicants.

A workshop was held Thursday and another will be held Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at Naperville Municipal Center.
