Police Blotter: Possesion, a Stolen Wallet and Street Racing

Tuesday, Sept. 20

Retail theft

Adrian Rodriguez, 27, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. on Aurora Avenue on a charge of retail theft, police said. He posted bond.

Suspended license

Michael Kevin Kaminski, 47, was arrested at 12:18 p.m. at Route 59 and Diehl Road on a charge of driving with a suspended license, police said. He posted bond.

Possession of a controlled substance

  • Brandon Maurice Haskins, 24, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. on Route 59 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Porsha Lakeesha Caples, 23, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. on Route 59 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Keith Mark Allen, 22, was arrested at 4:23 p.m., on Route 59 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Street racing

  • Tylor James Martinez, 19, was arrested at 10:59 p.m. at Olympus Drive and West 75th Street on a charge of street racing, police said. He posted bond.
  • Mohammed Suleiman Al Saad, 30, was arrested at 10:59 p.m. at Olympus Drive and West 75th Street on a charge of street racing, police said. He posted bond.

Theft

A 25-year-old man in the 2700 block of Fitness Drive reported that he left his phone in his gym bag Monday evening when he went to the bathroom, and when he returned it had been stolen, police said.

Vehicle burglary

  • A 56-year-old woman in the 100 block of Sandalwood Drive reported that between 8 p.m. Sept. 11 and 10 a.m. Sept. 12 she left a vehicle unlocked on her driveway and a wallet and its contents were stolen, police said.
  • A 56-year-old woman in the 100 block of Sandalwood Drive reported that between 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday an unlocked vehicle was entered and cash was taken from a purse left in a vehicle.

Criminal damage to property

Damage was found in the 900 block of North Avenue, police said. Someone entered the cemetery causing damage to concrete bases and a bench in the grotto area.
