Police Blotter: Smashed Mailboxes, Stolen Jewelry, Dogs Attack
Naperville Police Department reports, Oct. 6.

Resisting arrest
Randy Marquette Jones, 24, of the 4100 block of Chesapeake Landing, Aurora, was arrested at 7:27 p.m. at South Eagle Street and Aurora Avenue, said. He was charged with driving too fast for conditions/failing to reduce speed, failing to give aid or inform, resisting an officer and illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver. His bail was $1,500.
Leaving the scene
Michael Francis Dellotoro, 51, of the 1100 block of Alameda Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. at Hill Avenue and Montgomery Road, Aurora, where he was charged with failing to reduce speed/driving to fast for conditions, failing to give aid or inform, leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage and driving without insurance, police said. His bail was $2,000.
Driving under the influence
Eric C. Mattox, 35, of the 4400 block of Fender Road, Lisle, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. at Iroquois Avenue and East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. His bail was $3,000.

Warrant arrest
Amber Rose Miller, 20, of the 500 block of Staunton Road, was arrested at 9:34 p.m. at her home where police said she was charged on two failure to appear warrants from DuPage County. Her bail was $13,000.
Battery
Richard P. Kramer, 46, of the 300 block of Centennial Court, was arrested at 9:41 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with battery with the intent to do bodily harm. His bond was $150.

Possession
Earnest Quendale Hamilton, 28, of the 3500 block of Santana Lane, Plano, was arrested in the 4100 block of Plainfield-Naperville Road and 104th Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, registration expiration, driving on a suspended/revoked license and aggravated driving under the influence. He was taken to the Will County Jail.
Criminal damage
- A 52-year-old man in the 2300 block of Trillium Lane reported that a wooden post and a mailbox were destroyed, police said.
- A 74-year-old man in the 2200 block of Trillium Lane reported that a wooden post and mailbox were destroyed overnight, police said.
- A 46-year-old man in the 1100 block of Augustana Drive reported that on Wednesday his mailbox was damaged, police said.
- A 72-year-old man in the 2100 block of Coach Drive reported that mailboxes were bashed and destroyed after midnight Wednesday, according to police.
Theft
- Police said a 48-year-old man in the 100 block of Douglas Avenue reported that between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday a wallet with about $100 in chase, a driver’s license, two debit cards and a set of keys were stolen.
- A 41-year-old woman in the 2100 block of Horncastle Lane reported that between Aug. 21 and Wednesday several jewelry items, a hand-painted Russian jewelry box and safe keys were missing from her residence, police said.
Dog attack
A 28-year-old woman in the 1300 block of Royal Saint George Drive reported that she was walking her dog between 9:15 and 10:35 p.m. when two dogs attacked her dog, police said.
