Friday, May 27

Battery and criminal damage

Police said Marissa Nicole Huerta,18, of the 900 block of N. Brainard St. and Nicholas Joseph O’Neill, 22 of 2300 Kensington Ave. in Westchester were arrested around 12:48 a.m. in the 1200 block of N. Main Street. O’Neill broke windows on a 20-year-old man’s vehicle, and flying glass cut the man on the face and head, according to police. Huerta was charged with criminal damage and O’Neill was charged with battery and criminal damage to a vehicle. Bond for each was set at $120.

Tampered lock, door pried, property stolen

A 58-year-old woman in the 4800 block of Tupelo Drive reported that between May 26 at 10 a.m. and May 27 at 10:36 a.m. unknown intruders removed a lock cylinder from basement door lock, police said. The woman told police it appeared someone may have gained entry into residence but that was not confirmed. Nothing was out of place or missing.

Police said a 49-year-old man in the first block of E. Franklin Avenue reported that between 5 p.m. on Thursday and 11:20 a.m. on Friday an office that his church rents had pry marks to the door around the latch area. There were no suspects.

A man in the first block of Whispering Hills Drive that sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2:48 p.m. someone entered his apartment through the backdoor and stole a Sony PS3 game system, police said.

Retail theft

Jon Hoekstra of the 1100 block of S. Prospect Ave. in Elmhurst was arrested for retail theft at 11:02 a.m. at Menards, police said. Hoekstra allegedly walked out of store with items valued at $61.42. His bail was set at $1,500.

Driving on a suspended license

Police said Daniel Jan Vicory, 34, of the 600 block of Sheridan Street in Aurora was arrested at 3:22 p.m. for operating an uninsured vehicle, driving on a suspended/revoked license, not wearing a seat belt and on an outstanding warrant. Bond was set at $225.

Forgery

Antoinette Nicole Warren, 25, of the 1700 block of Ontario Avenue was arrested around 9:38 a.m. in the 1700 block of Ontario Avenue, police said. She was charged with forgery and misuse of a credit card, police said. Bail was set at $7,000.

Saturday, May 28

Driving under the influence

Marisa Chanthathep, 26, of the 700 block of Benedetti Drive, was arrested around 2:08 a.m. at Route 59 and New York Street, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, improper lane use, not driving on right side of a four-lane road, failure to give a signal and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Jeffrey Houston, 23, of the 1600 Robert Lane was arrested at 2:45 a.m. at Falkner Drive and 104th Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence and possession of cannabis and paraphernalia. His bail was set at $3,000

Nathan Ryan Becker, 19, of 15000 block of Vista Drive in Oak Forest was arrested at about 3:12 a.m. at North Avenue and N. Loomis Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and speeding. His bail was set at $3,000.

Police said they stopped and arrested Marco A. Chavez at about 7:59 p.m. at Feldott Lane and W. Ogden Avenue. He was charged with driving while his license revoked for driving under the influence.

Police said Matthew Scott Giblin, 32, of first block of Harmony Lane, Romeoville, was arrested at about 2:09 a.m. at LaCrosse Lane and Route 59. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence after being arrested at LaCrosse Lane and Route 59. His bail was set at $3,000.

Anna K. Gutierrez, 18, of the 24000 block of Fraser Road in Plainfield was arrested at about 11:33 p.m. at Route 59 and Brookdale Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, improper lane usage and improper turning.  Her bail was set at $3,000.

Unknown intruders, stolen property

A 48-year-old man in the 2400 block of Foxboro Lane reported that between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday an intruder entered his vehicle and took his TomTom GPS and his Sprint phone, police said. The man said he thought he left his vehicle unlocked. The estimated loss was $399.

A 28-year-old man in the 3000 block of Kentshire Circle said he left his vehicle unlocked between 12 p.m. and 12:25 p.m. Saturday and during that time someone took his Sirius receiver from his vehicle, police said. The receiver was valued at $150.

A 38-year-old woman in the 1400 block of Fairway Drive reported two rings were missing; one is wedding ring and band set, police said. The rings were taken sometime between May 12 and Friday.

A 46-year-old man in the 2800 block of Vernal Lane reported that between 4 p.m. Friday and 1:30 p.m. Saturday someone removed a set of golf clubs and a GPS from an unlocked car parked in the driveway, police said.

Trees and bushes toilet papered

Police said a 43-year-old woman in 1400 block of Hatchwood Court reported that between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday trees and bushes were toilet papered, a vehicle was duct taped, a soccer net was tossed over bushes, pots, yard stakes and solar lamps were broken.

Retail theft

On May 5, a man entered the Jewel store in the 100 block of E. Ogden Avenue and took $179.94 in alcohol, police said. The incident was just discovered and reported at around 4:13 p.m. Saturday.

Police said that James N. Allen, 58, of the 1500 block of Georgia Court, was arrested at about 5:39 p.m. at the Jewel store at 127 E. Ogden Avenue. Nelson was charged with retail theft. He allegedly stole vodka, meat and cheese valued at $33.98.

Using a fake ID, outstanding warrant

Angelica Marie Beil, 20, of the 24000 Blazing Star Court, Plainfield, and Michael Rudolph Kohl, 22, of the 22900 block of Bussey Drive in Plainfield were arrested at about 10:20 p.m. at BlackFinn American Saloon, police said. Bell was charged with using a false ID card and interfering with an officer. Her bond was set at $120. Kohl was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant from Will County. His bail was set at $30,000.

Driving without a license

Maria M. Rentaria, 38, of the 100 block of S. Lincoln Avenue in Aurora was arrested at W. Ogden Avenue and S. Eagle Street at about 7:54 p.m., police said. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant from DuPage County and also for driving without a license. Bond was set at $625.

Sunday, May 29

Driving under the influence

Danielle Renee Grove, 22, of the 1300 block of Royal St. George Drive, was arrested at about 1:59 a.m. at Aurora and W. Ogden avenues, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and speeding.

Matthew J. Hurston, Jr., 29 of the 800 block of Bowditch Street, Aurora, was arrested at about 2:11 a.m. at Ogden Avenue and N. Wright Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence, failure to give signal, speeding, improper turn at an intersection and following too closely. Bail was set at $3,000.

Matthew O. Warco, 25, of the 700 block of Benedetti Drive was arrested at about 2:49 a.m. in the 500 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, registration expiration, improper lane use and speeding over the limit. Bail was set at $3,000.

Maribel Diaz, 26, of the 2700 block of Asbury Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. at East Ogden and Iroquois Avenues, police said. She was charged with two counts driving under the influence, not wearing a seat belt, following too close and improper lane use.

Douglas John Steve, 59, of  6N700 block of Illinois Route 31 in St. Charles, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. at East 6th Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use. His bail was set at $3,000.

Stephanie R. Hogan, 31, of the 500 block of Heritage Drive, Oswego, was arrested at about 1:26 a.m. at Ogden Avenue and 75th St. in Aurora, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and speeding.

Vandalism

A 48-year-old woman in the 2000 block of Mustang Drive reported that an unknown vandal put mustard and eggs on her car overnight between 12 a.m. on and 10 a.m., police said.

Trespassing

Police said Andrew John Straub, 22, of the 9000 block of Manor Woods Drive in Fort Wayne, Ind., was arrested in the 100 block of South Washington Street and East Jefferson Avenue for criminal trespass to a vehicle and resisting a peace officer. His bail was set at $1,500.

Monday, May 30

Driving under the influence

Paul Elliot Jessen, 55, of the 3400 block of Bethel Church Road, Camden, Tenn. was arrested for two counts of driving under the influence, failure to give signal and improper land use, police said. His bail was set at $3,000.

Amit Menon Dutt, 23, of 2600 block of Saddlebrook Drive was arrested at about 10:28 p.m. in Naperville, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, disobeying a traffic signal and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $3,000.

Forcible entry

A business in the 1500 block of Frontenac Road was forcibly entered between 10:35 a.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday. A variety of tools were taken, police said.

Stolen makeup

At about 6:43 p.m. a woman in her 30s or 40s stole makeup valued at $125 from Ulta 3 in the 2700 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. The woman left before police arrived.

Warrant arrest

Jacob Richard Gulczynksi, 25, of the 800 block of River Oak Drive was arrested at Bailey Road and Coach Drive at about 4:53 p.m., police said. He was arrested on a warrant out of Will County. His bond was set at $400.

Fighting and disorderly conduct

Police said Demetrius L. Broddus, 21, of the 7200 block of Windsor Lakes in Woodridge was arrested at about 7:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Kiowa Drive for fighting.

Alexander C. Pope, 19, of 500 block of Kiowa Drive arrested at about 7:37 p.m. in the 1600 block of Kiowa Drive. He was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Plainfield

May 21

Brittany Hinger, 25, 1400 Sun Tree, Naperville, arrested by the Plainfield Police Department at about 11 p.m. May 21 at Route 59 and Renwick Park Drive and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and blood alcohol content over .08.
