Aldi To Host National Hiring Week
The grocery store chain, with a location in New Lenox, is looking to hire 1,800 people in the Chicagoland area ahead of the holiday season.
NEW LENOX, IL — Job seekers in New Lenox will have an opportunity next week to apply for open warehouse and store positions at Aldi. The grocery store chain is scheduled to host a National Hiring Week Sept 20-24, according to a news release sent by the company.
Aldi is looking to add 1,800 people in the Chicagoland area and 20,000 throughout the country. Additionally, it is seeking to hire hundreds more at its corporate offices in Aurora, Batavia and Naperville.
Local Aldi stores will host hiring events at its locations to fill available positions. Store and warehouse workers can earn up to $15 and $19 respectively, based on the location and position, according to the release.
