Officers were unable to definitively determine if the juveniles were involved in a prior, similar incident on July 14, police said.

The juveniles were taken into custody and transported to the New Lenox Police Department. Officers direct-filed charges for criminal damage to property for both. A direct-filed charge enables prosecutors to choose if a suspect will be charged as a juvenile or adult.
