New Lenox Firefighters Host Family Fun Day
The fire protection district is including all sorts of fun activities for the whole family, including rides in an engine and a beef cookoff.
NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Fire Protection District is throwing its annual Family Fun Day this Saturday, Aug. 3. The event will have all sorts of fun.
It starts at 11 a.m. and runs to 2 p.m. There will be fire engine rides, a bounce house, a safety house, kids' activities, a side by side burn demonstration, fire extinguisher training and tons more.
The New Lenox Fire Foundation will also hold their Controlled Burn Beef Cookoff.

The safety house starts at 11:30 p.m., the burn demonstration at 12:30 p.m. and fire extinguisher training at 1:15 p.m.
