New Lenox Man, 42, Charged With Child Porn Hid Cameras To Record Family Member: NLPD
The man also allegedly placed hidden cameras in a bathroom and bedroom of his home to record another family member, New Lenox police said.

NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox man faces charges after police said he downloaded child pornography and placed hidden cameras inside his home to film an adult family member.
Andrew H. Neudecker, 42, of the 200 block of Surf Drive, was arrested July 2 and charged with possession of child pornography and unlawful video recording.
In September 2023, the New Lenox Police Department Investigations Unit received information regarding a New Lenox resident that was downloading child pornography. During the investigation, police said Neudecker was identified as the suspect, and they obtained a search warrant for his home.

On July 2, the NLPD searched Neudecker's home with the assistance of the Cook County Sheriff’s Department. NLPD Investigators took possession of Neudecker’s electronic devices and digital storage devices, which police say contained evidence of the crime.
Police said investigators also discovered evidence that hidden cameras inside a bathroom and bedroom of his home, used to obtain unlawful recordings of another family member who was not a child, police said. Neudecker was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.

Neudecker was transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility pending a pre-trial detention hearing that is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3.
