The chain announced a return to the Chicago area this week, citing plans to open in several suburbs, including New Lenox, Tinley Park, Naperville, Plainfield, Carol Stream, Lake in the Hills, Countryside, with an additional Chicago location near Midway. The openings are slated for 2025, with some possibly extending into 2026, the company said. It's been more than 40 years since the chain last operated in Chicago and Illinois, the company said in a release. The company hopes to open 125 stores in the Chicago market.

It's not yet clear where in New Lenox they intend to open, Mayor Tim Baldermann said, and he doesn't yet have many details.
