Glenview Woman, 72, Dies After Being Hit By Car In Morton Grove: Cops
The driver of a Cadillac was taken into custody Sunday evening pending further investigation, police said.

MORTON GROVE, IL — A pedestrian was fatally injured when she was struck by a car Sunday in Morton Grove, police said.
The driver of a Cadillac sedan was in custody pending charges after hitting a 72-year-old woman in the 9200 block of Harlem Avenue shortly after 8 p.m., police said.
She was later identified by police as Glenview resident Bernadita Libot.

According to police, the motorist was driving southbound on Harlem between Beckwith Road and Church Street at the time of the crash.
Libot was taken to Lutheran General Hospital with serious injuries from the collision, which is under investigation by the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force's Major Crash Assistance Team.

No updates about any charges for the driver was immediately available from Monday afternoon from Morton Grove police, who asked anyone who witnessed the crash to call them.
