NILES, IL — A Chicago man is accused of stabbing a 42-year-old co-worker following a Saturday altercation at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Treyvon L. King, 28, of the 7400 block of South Exchange Road, was charged with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident, which happened in the parking lot at 7400 N. Park Ave., during the early morning hours.

The victim self-transported himself to the nearby Niles Fire Station, 6611 W. Jarvis Ave. He was then taken by Niles paramedics to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The curve of the blade on a karambit knife make it a deadly and dangerous weapon, according to karambit.com.
