Where To Find Your Polling Place On Tuesday, Election Day In Oak Lawn
You can still register and vote in the 2024 election Monday, Nov. 4, the last day of early voting, and Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

OAK LAWN, IL — Whether you just crave the excitement of voting on the actual Election Day or waited until the last minute and haven’t registered, you can still vote on Tuesday, Nov. 5. in the 2024 General Election.
The deadlines for requesting a mail-in ballot or to register online have passed so you will have to vote in person.
The last day of early voting for suburban Cook County voters is Monday, Nov. 4. Any voter in suburban Cook County can visit one of 51 early voting locations or downtown Chicago at 69 W. Washington..

If you plan to vote in Oak Lawn, the early voting site will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond Ave.
Oak Lawn voters should note that if they plan to vote on Tuesday in the presidential election, village hall will reopen as a polling place if that is your assigned precinct.

Voter registration is available Monday at early voting sites, but you need to fill out an application and vote that day. You’ll need two forms of ID, and at least one must show your current address.
Election Day
Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the day of the general election. If you are already in line to vote when the polls close, you can still vote — so don't leave.
Lines have been long, so allow yourself time to vote.
Same-day registration will also be available on Election Day but you have to register and vote at your assigned precinct. You’ll need two forms of ID, and at least one must show your current address.
If you don’t know your precinct, visit the Cook County Clerk’s website to find out where your polling place is located. You can also check to see who is on your ballot, your elected officials, and the status of your mail-in ballot.
Mail-in ballots must be completed and returned via mail to the Cook County Clerk in the return envelope. It must be postmarked by Nov. 5.
Or, drop your mail-in ballot off in person by Nov. 5 at a mail drop box.
