Kendall County Sheriff's Office Recognizes Auxiliary Team For 2025 Service
The team contributed more than 1,400 hours of volunteer service throughout 2025.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — As we look forward to the new year, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize the dedication of our Auxiliary team. The Auxiliary team has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the Kendall County community by contributing more than 1,400 hours of volunteer service throughout 2025.
From assisting with traffic control during events to providing vital support during emergency weather responses, the Auxiliary team plays a critical role in helping keep our community safe. The Auxiliary is a volunteer unit made up of community members who assist the Sheriff’s Office in a variety of roles and are an invaluable part of our operations.

Throughout the year, Auxiliary members supported the Sheriff’s Office in numerous ways, including providing traffic control for community events, assisting with emergency road closures and incidents, engaging with the public, and aiding motorists during severe weather events. Their efforts ensure the Sheriff’s Office can respond more effectively and efficiently to the needs of the community.
Auxiliary team members receive regular training in a wide range of areas, including emergency first aid, life-threatening bleeding control, emergency response procedures, traffic incident management, traffic control, and vehicle lockout assistance. This rigorous training allows them to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies, enhancing the overall readiness of the Sheriff’s Office.
