U.S. Marshals Nab Fugitive In Oswego
Dean Holmstrom had been wanted since September and has multiple prior arrests in Kendall County.

OSWEGO, IL — The U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Task Force apprehended fugitive Dean Holmstrom in Oswego this week. According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, Holmstrom, 31, was wanted on a warrant for aggravated DUI and had been a fugitive since September.
Holmstrom, who was apprehended Tuesday at the intersection of Judson and Monroe streets, was also wanted by the Illinois Department of Corrections for a parole violation.
Holmstrom was recently featured as part of the Kendall County Sheriff's Office's "Fugitive Fridays."

According to the Herald-News, Holmstrom was arrested in connection with a single-vehicle DUI crash in September 2013 on Fox Road in Yorkville.
In September 2014, Holmstrom was also hit by a train and received non-life-threatening injuries when he "misjudged" the width of a train while trying to set a coin on the tracks, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. He was cited for trespassing on railroad property, failure to yield at a pedestrian grade crossing and being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol.
