PLAINFIELD, IL — Extremely hot and potentially stormy weather is predicted in the Chicago area, and that includes Plainfield. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory until 8 p.m. for northern Illinois, with a possible heat index of 105 degrees, Tuesday.
