Downtown Plainfield Paver Medallion Scheduled For Maintenance

PLAINFIELD, IL — The brick paver medallion that greets pedestrians and vehicles as they drive in or out of downtown Plainfield is scheduled to undergo maintenance, the Department of Public Works said Thursday.

Work on the pavement featuring the Village of Plainfield logo, located at the intersection of Lockport and Des Plaines street, will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday. Crews are anticipating traffic delays as temporary lane closures will impact both eastbound and westbound lanes, the Public Works team said in an alert on Facebook.

The maintenance is expected to be completed at about 9 a.m.
