Emergency Track Repairs Planned On 119th Street Railroad Crossing
CN Railroad is preparing to conduct emergency repairs on a second railroad crossing later this week.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Emergency track repairs are planned Tuesday on the 119th Street train crossing in Plainfield, the Department of Public Works said Monday morning.
CN Railroad will complete repairs beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Work will require the crossing to be closed to traffic. Normantown Road will remain open.
A detour route will be posted by the 119th Street crossing. Drivers should use 248th Avenue, 127th Street and Route 30 to get around the closure.

CN Railroad also plans to make emergency repairs to the 127th Street crossing on Thursday, the Public Works staff said.
