At Least 4 Wanted In Connection With Plainfield Boater's Drowning: Report

Detectives are reviewing evidence while continuing to search for the suspects involved in Captain Bill's death, according to a report.

PLAINFIELD, IL — At least four suspects are being sought in connection with the Aug. 30 death of a Plainfield boater, according to a report from WGN.

Nabil Abzal, the 63-year-old Plainfield resident known to the Chicago boating community as "Captain Bill," was pronounced dead after his body was pulled from DuSable Harbor in Chicago. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office determined he died by drowning and ruled his death a homicide, Patch reported.

Detectives investigating Abzal's death said the cameras at the dock were working at the time Abzal drowned and are reviewing evidence as they continue searching for those involved, WGN reported.
