Possible Gas Leak Closes Road In Plainfield: Police
Drivers were encouraged to find alternate routes Monday afternoon while the issue was being resolved, police said.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Naperville Road in Plainfield was temporarily closed Monday afternoon due to a possible gas leak, according to police.
The closure was in place from Ash Street to 135th Street as of 2:19 p.m., officials wrote in an alert on Facebook. It reopened as of 2:40 p.m.
Officials asked drivers to use alternate routes while the area was being cleared.
