Santa Claus Is Coming To Plainfield: Where To See Him

PLAINFIELD, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Plainfield families. For many, there's nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In and around Plainfield, kids have several chances to see Kris Kringle in person:

• Pictures with Santa event from 4-6 p.m. Dec. 5 at Black Dog Vinyl Cafe
• Breakfast with Santa, hosted by Plainfield Park District starting at 9 a.m. Dec. 7
• Joliet High School District 204's Winter Wonderland Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus, 8-11:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at Joliet Central Student Center
• Santa and Mrs. Claus visit McDonald's (15810 S. Route 59), 5-7 p.m. Dec. 10
• Pictures with Santa at Webb Chevy Plainfield, 4-6 p.m. Dec. 13
• Plainfield Park District's Journey to the North Pole from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 13-14
• American Legion Marne Post 13's Breakfast with Santa for kids, 9-11 a.m. Dec. 14
• Rockin' Santa Sing-A-Long Show Dec. 15 at Werk Force Brewing

Santa will also hold court at Louis Joliet Mall and Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in The Promenade in Bolingbrook. The festivities at both places will run through Dec. 24.
