Teams will go door-to-door to determine what kinds of assistance Plainfield residents need after several mid-August storms.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Teams will be knocking on Plainfield residents' doors Wednesday and Thursday to assess the damage from storms that hit the area in mid-August.

Representatives from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency - Office of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Small Business Administration and the Will County Emergency Management Agency will go door-to-door to verify reports of damage that occurred Aug. 16-19.
