Where To Find Warming Centers In Plainfield As Winter Storm Approaches

PLAINFIELD, IL — With warnings of a winter storm on the horizon, it just might shape up to be a white Christmas in Plainfield.
Wind gusts up to 55 mph as well as dangerously cold temperatures as low as 25 to 30 degrees below zero could accompany the snow. Falling and blowing snow could cause "white-out conditions" with zero visibility at times, Patch reported.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the Chicago area, which goes into effect at 6 p.m. Thursday and lasts until 6 a.m. Saturday.
