Where To See Santa In Plainfield This Christmas Season

PLAINFIELD, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Plainfield families. For them, there's nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In and around Plainfield, kids have several chances:

• At Plainfield Park District's Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 2
• At Plainfield Park District's Journey to the North Pole events Dec. 8-9
• At Joliet Louis Mall through Dec. 24. Reservations are encouraged.
• At Skating with Santa Dec. 2 in Bolingbrook
• At Joliet School District 204's Winter Wonderland Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus Dec. 8

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Chicago, Santa will be at Macy's on State Street through Dec. 24. Reservations are required.

JCPenney stores, including stores in Joliet and Montgomery, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
