40 IL State Scholars Named At Romeoville High School

Seniors who are in the top half of their class and also scored at or above the 95th percentile nationally on the ACT or SAT were recognized.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Forty seniors at Romeoville High School were named Illinois State Scholars, officials said.

Between the two high schools part of Valley View Community Unit School District 365U — one in Bolingbrook, the other in Romeoville — 122 Class of 2024 students received the designation. The Board of Education recently recognized their achievement at a meeting.

The title is given out by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, which recognizes high school seniors who are in the top half of their graduating class and scored at or above the 95th percentile nationally on the ACT or SAT.
