ROMEOVILLE, IL — UPDATE: The intersection has now been reopened, the Village said in a notification email on Friday afternoon.

The intersection at Route 53 and Renwick Road is temporarily closed Friday morning due to a crash, according to the Village of Romeoville.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area, the Village said.
