ROMEOVILLE, IL - Romeoville police have locally detained individuals this month from as far as Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Here's a look at the recently logged criminal charges:

Justin Burton, 20, of the 900 block of North Prairie Avenue in Joliet, was arrested around 11:20 p.m. on Aug. 24. Police took Burton into custody near Route 53 and Airport Road, where he was charged with driving under the influence, driving a vehicle that did not have a rear bumper, and illegal use of a cell phone while driving. His bail was set at $3,000.

Marlon McGhee, 43, of the first block of North Lincoln Avenue in Lombard, was arrested around 9:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Crossroads Parkway. He was charged with driving under the influence, and his bail was set at $3,000.

Police arrested Adan Banuelos, 19, of the 400 block of Claire Avenue in Romeoville, around 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 26. He was charged for driving without a valid driver's license, driving without insurance, and texting while driving. His bail was set at $2,000.

James Villegas, 44, of the 9100 block of Pepperwood Trail in Orland Hills, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 27. Police took Villegas into custody in the 400 block of North Weber Road. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving a vehicle without insurance, and illegal transportation of alcohol. His bail was set at $3,000.

Around 10 a.m. on Aug. 28, police arrested 41-year-0ld Kristina Best, of the 200 block of Daisy Circle in Romeoville. She was charged in the 200 block of South Weber Road with retail theft. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Joshua Kelm, 39, of the 500 block of East 12th Street in Lockport, was arrested around 10 a.m. on Aug. 28 in the 200 block of South Weber Road. He was charged with retail theft, and his bail was set at $1,500, according to police.

Branden Leach, 21, of the first block of Kempton Drive in Romeoville, was arrested shortly before 2 p.m. on Aug. 29 in the 200 block of East Savannah Drive. He was charged with stealing item(s) valued at less than $500, and possession of a controlled substance. Leach was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Josh Fase, 18, of the 600 block of East Cass Street in Joliet was arrested around 9:50 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 100 block of North Independence Boulevard on an in-state warrant. Police took Fase to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, they said.

Around 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 1, police arrested 33-year-old Antonio Lewis, a resident of the 2900 block of Ridgeway Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was taken into custody near Weber and Airport roads, where he was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and driving in the wrong lane. His bail was set at $3,000.

Dennis Duda, 47, of the 19300 block of Dawson Street in Romeoville was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. on Sept. 4 near Route 53 and University Parkway. Police charged Duda with driving under the influence, aggravated speeding and driving a vehicle with no insurance. His bail was set at $3,000.

Tina Bajorek-Rutka, 45, of the 200 block of Traverse Court in Romeoville, was arrested around 3 p.m. on Sept. 4 near Romeo Road and Heritage Parkway. She was charged with driving without a valid driver's license and speeding. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Keith Weimer, 31, of the 400 block of Farrell Road in Lockport, was arrested on a warrant around 9:40 a.m. on Sept. 5 in the 1700 block of Christopher Court. He was thereafter taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Kevontay Williams, 23, of the 1600 block of Rose Circle in Romeoville, was arrested around 12:20 a.m. on Sept. 5 near the intersection of Taylor Road and Wespark Boulevard. Police charged Williams with driving under the influence and speeding. His bail was set at $3,000.

Agustine Melchor, 24, of the 2300 block of North Kostner Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 8:20 p.m. on Sept. 5 near Weber Road and South Carillon Drive. He was charged with driving with a revoked license and failure to yield. His bail was set at $1,500.
