Eastbound Closures On 135th Street Bridge Next 2 Days

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Lane closures are in effect on the 135th Street bridge in Romeoville, as the bridge undergoes routine inspection, according to a notification from the Village.

The routine inspection started Wednesday on the bridge over the I&M Canal. To safely perform the inspection, traffic is reduced to one lane for eastbound traffic, starting east of Isle a la Cache until Metra Station entrance.

Westbound traffic will not be affected, according to the Village.

The lane closure will be in effect for two days, depending on weather. Work will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
