Firefighters Opening Station Doors For Family Fun During National Fire Prevention Month
Romeoville first responders are inviting the public in October to celebrate National Fire Prevention Month.
ROMEOVILLE, IL - Local first responders are opening their firehouse doors to the public in October in honor of National Fire Prevention Month.
The Village of Romeoville Fire Prevention Open House is set for Saturday, Oct. 14. Area residents are invited to visit Station No. 3 at 698 N. Birch Lane between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for free family-oriented activities including a fire truck slide, Romeoville Police K-9 demonstration, and more.
Hot dogs, popcorn and giveaways also await. The event will center on the 2017 theme, "Every Second Counts."
