Lewis Squadron to Participate in Wreaths Across America

Local Civil Air Patrol Squadron Helps Honor those resting at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in December.

Romeoville, IL. (23 Nov 2024) –
On Saturday, 14 December 2024, Lewis Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary, out of Lewis University in Romeoville, IL will be participating in Wreaths Across America. Squadron members, both cadets and adult members, will be helping Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Each year, Wreaths Across America’s goals are to: Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Our volunteers are the beating heart of the program and work year-round to share this important mission and inspire others to join.
