ROMEOVILLE, IL — A new retail building will be constructed at the site of the former 7-Eleven gas station in Romeoville. At its Wednesday meeting, the Romeoville Village Board approved a special use permit for the final development plan for 679 N. Weber Road.

"The development plan includes the construction of a new, 3-unit, 8,600-square-foot retail building with a drive-thru unit at the northern end cap that would be occupied by Hawaiian Bros Island Grill," Potter said. "The south unit would be for Crisp & Green restaurant, and the middle unit is not yet ready to be announced."
Potter said the OM Group is closing on the property potentially this week, with construction starting in the spring and a late summer/early fall completion.
