Paving Work Begins On 135th Street Project

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Paving work will begin this weekend on 135th Street, from Macon west to near Arsenal Road, the Village shared on its Facebook.

The Village advised drivers avoiding the area, and to expect heavy construction traffic during the work. Existing road closures and detours remain in place.

"The good news is that paving is one of the final steps of this project," the Village shared on its Facebook.

The water and sewer project on 135th Street began May 1, and includes the water and sewer main replacement on 135th Street, from Arsenal to Macon.
