Police Blotter: Retail Theft, Robbery & Warrant Arrests

Also, police report a theft of a package that had been delivered in the 2000 block of Whitecliffe Drive.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Dec. 18: Ariel Nava, 217 Hemlock, Romeoville, was booked on charges of driving on a suspended license and an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bond was set at $15,000.

Dec. 9: Amanda Hill, 18, 2124 Willow Lakes Drive, Plainfield, was charged with retail theft in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Dec. 9: Ernesto Ramos-Zepeda, 38, 609 Glenhurst Court, Romeoville, was charged with no valid DL, no insurance, no registration and improper use of registration at Route 53 & Taylor Road.

Dec. 10: Jose Ceja-Arteaga, 27, 713 Union Ave., Romeoville, was charged with no valid DL, disobeying a stop sign, failure to notify SOS of address change at Blemont at Montrose.

Dec. 10: Frederic Ehringer, 24, 21515 Franklin Circle, Plainfield, was charged with aggravated robbery in the 0-100 block of South Weber Road.

Nov. 26: A residential burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Arborwood Circle. Unknown person(s) damaged a door of the residence. It appears that nothing was taken from the home. Estimated cost to repair the door is $600. Time: 6:02 p.m.

Dec. 4: A theft under $500 was reported in the 2000 block of Whitecliffe. Unknown person(s) took a package that had been delivered to the residence. Estimated cost of the contents is $269. Time: 5:15 p.m.
