Residents to Receive Water Rebate for 7th Year
Romeoville officials announced Thursday that residents will be getting water relief for the seventh consecutive year.

ROMEOVILLE, IL - Romeoville officials announced Thursday that residents will be getting water relief for the seventh consecutive year.
Residents of all single-family homes within the village’s borders will receive a $5 rebate on their October water bills, according to a community notice.
“Since 2011, (more than) $1.1 million has been returned to the residents of Romeoville through these water rebates,” Mayor John Noak said. “We have been fortunate to be able to provide this program over the past few years.”

In 2011, Mayor Noak and the Village Board recognized the impact of the national economic recession and its continuing effects on the residents of Romeoville. To help provide assistance, the rebate program was born.
