Romeoville Freddy's Frozen Custard Location Closes

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers location in Romeoville has permanently closed.

The Romeoville business had opened in December 2022 at 440 S. Weber Road.

The Village of Romeoville said it was aware of the closure.

"This is a great site, and we are optimistic that new opportunities will fill this space," Village Manager Dawn Caldwell said.

Several Freddy's locations have closed in the Chicago area over the past several months, including in Frankfort, Orland Park and Lake Zurich. According to the business' website, it lists 18 locations in Illinois still open, including in Crystal Lake and Glendale Heights.
