The initiative encourages residents to explore town and snap photos that align with monthly contest themes. One winner will be selected each month. The No. 1 photo will then be displayed on the village website, as well its Facebook and Twitter accounts. Winners will also receive a prize valued at $25 from participating local businesses such as Citgo, American Sale, Farm and Fleet, and others.
The contest officially kicks off Oct. 1 with the theme, “Sight Seeing/Falling for Autumn.” Upcoming themes include November's “Your Favorite Recreation Department Program or Class,” and December's will be “Your Favorite Holiday Scene.”
