Romeoville Man Dies In A Crash Thursday On Route 53
Stanley R. Buchta, 68, crashed his car into a construction vehicle on Route 53.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville man died in a crash on Thursday, after his car struck a construction vehicle on Route 53, just south of Airport Road in the village, the Will County Coroner's Office said in a release.
Stanley R. Buchta, 68, was pronounced dead at 7:04 p.m. Thursday at the Amita Health Adventist Medical Center in Bolingbrook. An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday, the coroner said.
The Romeoville Police Department responded to the area of Route 53 for a crash involving a Caterpillar Steam Roller, a Chevrolet Cruze, and a Toyota Prius. The driver of the Caterpillar Steam Roller, Marcus Magallanes, 58,was transported to Silver Cross Hospital for his injuries, police said. Buchta was driving the Chevrolet Cruze.
