Scholarships Open Up For Romeoville High School Seniors

The Village of Romeoville's Veterans Commission and Youth Outreach Commission is offering several scholarships to local students.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville's Veterans Commission and Youth Outreach Commission is offering several scholarships to local students.

Three scholarships, all worth up to $500, are available to Romeoville seniors. Each application, due by April 12, has between six to seven application questions.

The Child/Grandchild of a Veteran Scholarship is available to Romeoville residents whose parents, grandparents or legal guardians currently serve in the military, were honorably discharged or are veterans. Seniors living in Romeoville and currently serving in their high school's Reserve Officers' Training Corps program are able to apply for the ROTC Scholarship.

Eligibility for the Youth Leadership Scholarship is most broad — any high school seniors residing in Romeoville can apply.
