Water Main Installation To Impact 135th Street Traffic In Romeoville
Traffic on the roadway will be reduced to one lane in each direction at times during construction, officials said.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A water main installation will begin March 25, disrupting traffic on 135th Street in Romeoville, officials announced.
Construction will take place on 135th Street, also known as Romeo Road, beginning east of the post office to just west of Route 53. As a result, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at times, but access to businesses will remain, according to an alert.
The installation is expected to last between four to five weeks, with work scheduled Monday through Saturday during normal village hours.
